I love the work that I see on your new site and was saddened to read that you had lost your previous blog.
ReplyDeleteHowever, "Annes Creative Threads" blog pages are not totally gone. I don't know if this will be of any use to you but wanted to share what I learned.
I mentioned it to a friend who told me about an archive on the Internet that stores many things including copies of websites (for public sites that allow it):
https://archive.org
This site is called the Internet Archive "Wayback Machine".
If you go there and enter your old domain name http://annemaundrelldesigns.com/ into the search index you will see a calendar with dates that a copy of the entire website was done.
I tried it and then clicked on May 12, 2016 which took me to a page with an error and then it redirected me to http://annemaundrelldesigns.com/index.html
From there I clicked around (not all photos showed up) saw your Gallery of Quilts and then to your old Blog.
I think the latest set is from Sept 17, 2016 (Ice dye vest top).

Some pages had lots of missing photos but others seem to be complete.
For example the one from Feb 21 Flying Home (with the Heron) seems to have all the photos.
Not all the links work right all the time ("Older Posts" sometimes jumps years) But I was able to see quite a bit - also by trying different Tags.

ReplyDeleteI did some more looking around. At the top of each site they tell you how many "captures" they took. And provide dates for you to choose.
I expected to find later dates having the best results. But that was not always the result.
For example: Aug 27, 2014 "Forest Giant revisited" site said there were "4 captures".
